De tulpen SC's Yu Ang Chuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Augusto in the 5th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Yu Ang Chuan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Văidianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 14th minute of play forced De tulpen SC's goalkeeper Yu Ang Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yu Ang Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Augusto in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Valer Văidianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. De tulpen SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frits Daverveld in the 21st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in De tulpen SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! De tulpen SC:s Yu Ang Chuan showed great skill when he stopped Lei Feng Yan:s penalty. Yu Ang Chuan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Lei Feng Yan. But to his dismay, Lei Feng Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Renato Augusto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Yu Ang Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 32nd minute of the match. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harm van Zomeren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Harm van Zomeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Walme. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harm van Zomeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lei Feng Yan got free with Yu Ang Chuan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Renato Augusto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Daniel Owsiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 played minutes De tulpen SC got a freekick which was hit by Luc Hillen. With an all-out effort, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Yu Ang Chuan threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renato Augusto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valer Văidianu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Siekkötter in the 56th minute of play forced De tulpen SC's goalkeeper Yu Ang Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Walme made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Valer Văidianu sent off a good shot on target. Yu Ang Chuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Siekkötter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Daniel Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, De tulpen SC's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Augusto came free, but Yu Ang Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De tulpen SC made a substitution. Fredrik Alebeck replaced Arjan Spanjer. Yu Ang Chuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Augusto, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renato Augusto in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yu Ang Chuan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renato Augusto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Yu Ang Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Ricardinho de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 82nd minute of play forced De tulpen SC's goalkeeper Yu Ang Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Daniel Owsiak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yu Ang Chuan. De tulpen SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Owsiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 88th minute, Frits Daverveld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Faustão Châton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yu Ang Chuan skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Lucio Siekkötter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Daniel Owsiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the De tulpen SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul.
