An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 3rd minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Romelu Lukaku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georgi Velinov was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Refik Ülgü came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yan Chong Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC CSKA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ali Ruohiainen was slow to take the kick. During this time Palloketut's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ali Ruohiainen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Georgi Velinov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Téo Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palloketut's goalkeeper Yan Chong Sen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikhard Elomo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Romelu Lukaku came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yan Chong Sen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the game, Ahmet Refik Ülgü cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Yan Chong Sen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute Arnulfo Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan Chong Sen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Roderigo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The Palloketut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Chong Sen should have stopped the shot. Palloketut made a substitution. Doğuş Turabi replaced Marcus Hjelm.
