The De tulpen SC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when De tulpen SC's Valer Văidianu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Văidianu in the 25th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Refik Ülgü couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Văidianu. Georgi Velinov was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Timoteo Manilan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timoteo Manilan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. FC CSKA made a substitution. Arnulfo Roderigo replaced Téo Vieira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Georgi Dimitrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yu Ang Chuan having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Georgi Dimitrov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yu Ang Chuan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes in the game, Georgi Dimitrov dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Georgi Dimitrov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Yu Ang Chuan made a huge save. In the 91st minute Ruslan Dzhalev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yu Ang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Marc Hainl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frits Daverveld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. De tulpen SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
