But to his dismay, Sebastian Käller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kind of Blue:s goal. Sebastian Käller took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Walme. Aurelio Walme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aurelio Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Käller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kind of Blue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joacim Hansson in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Käller came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Tarcisio Mangueira in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kind of Blue's Håkan Mild. After 44 minutes of play, Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Walme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Pallini in the 47th minute of play. The S.E.R. Caxias do Sul players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kind of Blue were winning 0-3.
