Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dudu Georgescu kicked off to start the match. Emanuele Mussi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Ciprian Alexe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Witek having to interfere. Borys Witek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Birișu. In the 20th minute Kevin Strømsnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Şantău received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Borys Witek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Witek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Alexe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Georgescu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Borys Witek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Markham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nistor Maghiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Remme's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Kent Remme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Borys Witek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciprian Alexe in the 36th minute of play. Emanuel Markham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Maghiar having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kent Remme came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Emanuele Mussi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minerul Baita -MM- the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuele Mussi to maneuver through the defense. Borys Witek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciprian Alexe in the 43rd minute of the match. Borys Witek came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu. But to his dismay, Dudu Georgescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Minerul Baita -MM- were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after Brufoss IL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dudu Georgescu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Minerul Baita -MM-'s corner Dudu Georgescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Borys Witek quite easily take care of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Emanuel Markham made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Markham. In the 60th minute of the match Minerul Baita -MM- got a corner. Brufoss IL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dudu Georgescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 62 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Kent Remme came free, but Nistor Maghiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brufoss IL's Kent Remme managed to work through Minerul Baita -MM-'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Kent Remme dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 67th minute, Ciprian Alexe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brufoss IL's Frode Tobiassen was substituted for Kai Østbye. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Allan Shearer was substituted for Dudu Georgescu. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when Minerul Baita -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Alexe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuele Mussi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Minerul Baita -MM- made a substitution. Cédric Payen replaced Ciprian Alexe. In the 73rd minute, Emanuele Mussi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Ferenț, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Christer Hustad. 78 minutes into the match, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Felix Ferenț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borys Witek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nistor Maghiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frode Tobiassen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frode Tobiassen in the 90th minute of play forced Minerul Baita -MM-'s goalkeeper Nistor Maghiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Witek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cédric Payen, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Minerul Baita -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brufoss IL for a fine match.
