Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moulay Faudel in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Noh Yi-Sheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fawzi Ramdane was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moulay Faudel in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Kashima Antlers's Teodoro Domingues fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Fawzi Ramdane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hidayat Peng in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moulay Faudel in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. Afiz Teo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Kashima Antlers's 张晨奕. But to his dismay, 张晨奕 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Victor Chan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fawzi Ramdane. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when Kashima Antlers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nasreddine Zarabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hidayat Peng in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fawzi Ramdane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zafran Chuan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Fawzi Ramdane came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Redbourn AFC's Hidayat Peng. But to his dismay, Hidayat Peng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by 张晨奕 in the 61st minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afiz Teo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moulay Faudel in the 63rd minute. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moulay Faudel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hidayat Peng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fawzi Ramdane was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Moulay Faudel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kashima Antlers's supporters rose to their feet, but Moulay Faudel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afiz Teo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 played minutes Redbourn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Soon. Fawzi Ramdane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noh Yi-Sheng, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moulay Faudel got free with Afiz Teo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Moulay Faudel came free, but Afiz Teo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moulay Faudel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Shafiq Chien-Kwan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fawzi Ramdane was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Victor Chan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Moulay Faudel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moulay Faudel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Redbourn AFC had played much better football throughout.
