If Edmond Azzizi-Kettab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Young Ostend United's Leontin Vârșan got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 93 minutes, Romário Molina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Young Ostend United and the Kashima Antlers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Hamza Souakri with Abdellah Medjadi Temmam as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Young Ostend United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
