The de belletrekkers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that De-la-Cruz de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulus Van Hove in the 21st minute of play forced Nacional's goalkeeper Juaneizu Merida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jurgen De Rudder made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Rafael Van Der Meeren in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nacional's Xu Sha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck De-la-Cruz de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juaneizu Merida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper De-la-Cruz de Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grabiel Escorcia. 61 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but De-la-Cruz de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. de belletrekkers's De-la-Cruz de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save de belletrekkers from getting a goal against them. The Nacional fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Inocencio Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute.
