In the 16th minute 张晨奕 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Jeilman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored FC Drik's protests and gave Niko Debrabant a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Niko Debrabant hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Kashima Antlers's Moulay Faudel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erling Jeilman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svenaage Lisner to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Gerdt Alenkjær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 52 minutes, Edmond Azzizi-Kettab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kashima Antlers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmond Azzizi-Kettab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Jeilman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Moulay Faudel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 54 minute of play. Moulay Faudel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Erling Jeilman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kashima Antlers's Moulay Faudel managed to work through FC Drik's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Moulay Faudel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 58 minutes into the game, Kashima Antlers's 张晨奕 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Teodoro Domingues kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erling Jeilman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moulay Faudel got free with Erling Jeilman in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, 张晨奕 made a precise shot to the right of Erling Jeilman. FC Drik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. 张晨奕 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Erling Jeilman made a huge save. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hauge Linow hit a great ball. Erling Jeilman was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Moulay Faudel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Moulay Faudel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-17.
