In the 4th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardy Pakubuwono to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Markham. 9 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borys Witek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Brufoss IL defense, Don Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Witek. The Brufoss IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Witek should have stopped the shot. Jan-Kenneth Heistad hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Cabezon in the 12th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were awarded a corner. Ardy Pakubuwono went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Yadi Sentosa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Ardy Pakubuwono had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ardy Pakubuwono was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brufoss IL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ardy Pakubuwono ran over to the corner to take the kick. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Borys Witek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Emanuele Mussi made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kent Remme. If Ardy Pakubuwono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Don Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Witek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Don Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Borys Witek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes of play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Borys Witek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 41st minute of play. After the first half AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Don Cabezon made the kick off in the second half. Don Cabezon scored 0-6 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Borys Witek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute, Don Cabezon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Witek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Witek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 62nd minute of the match AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC got a corner. The audience was convinced that Podador Raheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Witek was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Borys Witek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Podador Raheiro's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Mambru in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Samuel Mambru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brufoss IL's Borys Witek did a great save. Borys Witek made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Samuel Mambru sent off a good shot on target. Borys Witek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Mambru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 94 minute of play. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
