Denis Schubring made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Denis Schubring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Markham, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Schubring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 14th minute of play. Denis Schubring showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Markham in the 16th minute of the match. Emanuel Markham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Schubring having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Christer Ribe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Drik the free kick. Sixten Hviddahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Melkior Froholm got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 minutes of play, Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denis Schubring was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Vetle Nygård might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Schubring. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vetle Nygård ran back to his position shaking his head. Brufoss IL's Christer Ribe got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rune Saltnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Markham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Denis Schubring skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Denis Schubring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Markham, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With his leg Denis Schubring managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuel Markham took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Schubring. Denis Schubring dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Brufoss IL's Jan-Kenneth Heistad was substituted for Christer Hustad. Brufoss IL's Are Høiby was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Vinzent Kiersgaard got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to FC Drik getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Helmer Dakina hit a great ball. Emanuel Markham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Denis Schubring tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Schubring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Emanuel Markham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Markham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Schubring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, FC Drik's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kai Østbye fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 89 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Markham came free, but Denis Schubring reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Melkior Froholm in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brufoss IL's Rune Saltnes. In the 92nd minute, Emanuel Markham fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Denis Schubring, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mogens Hallberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brufoss IL's Kai Østbye got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Drik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brufoss IL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
