With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernst Barskov in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg De-la-Cruz de Alcântara saved de belletrekkers from getting behind. Ted Kobbeltvedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Goethals, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rein Goethals in the 30th minute of play forced FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ernst Barskov made the kick off in the second half. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulus Van Hove in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Philipp Van Emelen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philipp Van Emelen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 2-3 became the score in the 84th minute when Paulus Van Hove elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Paulus Van Hove fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to interfere. The FC Drik fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. de belletrekkers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
