The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Don Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A nice corner shot did that Ardy Pakubuwono got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Afiz Teo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Don Cabezon took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afiz Teo. Afiz Teo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 22nd minute, Hyvä Suomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Don Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Cabezon in the 31st minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dacian Nițescu was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Hidayat Peng capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hidayat Peng really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Afiz Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Redbourn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farhan Ching to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hidayat Peng came free, but Dacian Nițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Don Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Teo came out of the goal and Don Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Don Cabezon made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 71 minutes into the game, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afiz Teo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Riswan Sanusi replaced Don Cabezon. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Jajat Mustari was substituted for Freddy Sazon. In the 77th minute, Riswan Sanusi made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. 80 minutes into the match, Riswan Sanusi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Riswan Sanusi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. In the 89th minute Riswan Sanusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afiz Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riswan Sanusi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afiz Teo came out and tried to block the shot, but Riswan Sanusi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 94th minute.
