The corner ended in Diego Quadros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VB-Team's Armindo Salgado did a great save. Ernst Giöck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. Paulo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Caeiro in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulisses Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Armindo Salgado made a huge save. Duarte Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Golo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Duarte Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Golo Duarte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Sandro Leitão got a free kick in the 77th minute. Diego Quadros took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ernst Giöck sped through VB-Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. Duarte Duarte stood somewhat misplaced when Gervásio Severiano came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Joaquim de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Podwojski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Ernst Giöck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The VB-Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VB-Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
