The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Nichifor Bâlea in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, VB-Team's Gervásio Severiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nichifor Bâlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervásio Severiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Bâlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim de Barros in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Bâlea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes IK Zenith got a freekick which was hit by Anders Sigfridsson. Nichifor Bâlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 19th minute of the match. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Marcus Rolandsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Kun Yuan in the 25th minute of play forced IK Zenith's goalkeeper Nichifor Bâlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nichifor Bâlea was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Shao Kun Yuan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shao Kun Yuan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, IK Zenith's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Nichifor Bâlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of VB-Team booed when IK Zenith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Álvaro Rezende shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nichifor Bâlea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Håkan Håning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Caeiro got free with Nichifor Bâlea in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nichifor Bâlea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Caeiro's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, IK Zenith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Sigfridsson to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Viktor Ahlbeck made the kick off in the second half. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 56th minute of play forced IK Zenith's goalkeeper Nichifor Bâlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Joaquim de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Nichifor Bâlea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 60th minute of play. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Ahlbeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nichifor Bâlea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Caeiro in the 76th minute of play. Nichifor Bâlea came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by VB-Team's Luís Caeiro. But to his dismay, Luís Caeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The supporters of VB-Team booed when IK Zenith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nichifor Bâlea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Caeiro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 86th minute of play. IK Zenith's Nichifor Bâlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 94th minute of play.
