Galo do Japi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cafu Ringaa in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on Galo do Japi's corner Ahmet Demir fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christoffel Portmans quite easily take care of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Wirinckx. Qwinten Strupar made in the 11th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ludwig Van der Borght however managed to control. Thanks to some nice moves Ludwig Van der Borght could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Ronaldo Giovanelli however easily saved by the left post. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Wirinckx in the 14th minute of the match. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nickolas Wittemans in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Wirinckx got free with Ronaldo Giovanelli in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Wirinckx who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Ronaldo Giovanelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christoffel Portmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Cauan Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Wirinckx in the 30th minute of play. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 37th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Wirinckx came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludwig Van der Borght could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Giovanelli made a huge save. In the 47th minute Michael Wirinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Durvalino Caca-Rato hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 58th minute of play. SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Santana in the 63rd minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Van der Borght in the 65th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Lara to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Van der Borght in the 80th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Van der Borght in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Carlos Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Christoffel Portmans came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Japi's Carlos Santana. But to his dismay, Carlos Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The SK Dreigoten supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galo do Japi's performance. The match ended with a win for Galo do Japi.
