Genaro Abendano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Genaro Abendano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Pietreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the RomoLerouX UniteD UXX defense, Wilson Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Abendano. The RomoLerouX UniteD UXX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Abendano should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's zone, Wilson Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Abendano came out of the goal and Wilson Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Genaro Abendano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Arósio in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iulian Pietreanu in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genaro Abendano saved RomoLerouX UniteD UXX from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Horhoianu came free, but Genaro Abendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Txindoki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matheus Queirós in the 37th minute. Genaro Abendano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Pietreanu in the 38th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Petrică Cândreanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Genaro Abendano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Horacio Gombal was substituted for Jiang Nan Feng. The RomoLerouX UniteD UXX fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Matheus Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Genaro Abendano made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Nils-Emil Hansson sent off a good shot on target. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
