The coaching staff of Galo do Japi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cauan Catarinense had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Galo do Japi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
