After taking down the ball on Los Muñes de Don Cuco's corner Guaberto Jacindo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edwin van der Sar quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Gaxan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baron Buffon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rien Oss sped through Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edwin van der Sar. 33 minutes into the match, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo lago came free, but Baron Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ｕｎｉãｏ Ｓｐｏｒｔ Ｃｌｕｂｅ Ｐａｒｅｄｅｓ. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rien Oss to make the kick off. In the 77th minute, Ramon Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin van der Sar was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2.
