Bonifacio Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Radomir Gajewski lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mekki Item had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Abel Esiquio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bandung Tigers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
