Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Astillero del Guayas from getting a goal against them. Velichko Rakadzhiev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Nacho González made a huge save. Velichko Rakadzhiev scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nacho González, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 22 in the game by Velichko Rakadzhiev from a close distance when the talented Nacho González managed to make a qualified save. Astillero del Guayas's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Sola in the 24th minute of play forced Bestone 716 - Jakarta's goalkeeper Sahala Ginting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sahala Ginting came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Astillero del Guayas's Zarando Eguizabal. But to his dismay, Zarando Eguizabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sahala Ginting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaiver Ascarretazabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Astillero del Guayas were awarded a corner. Ziemowit Lampa went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Zarando Eguizabal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Velichko Rakadzhievs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Nacho González to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Bestone 716 - Jakarta defense, Zarando Eguizabal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sahala Ginting. The Bestone 716 - Jakarta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sahala Ginting should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Borys Ciszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bestone 716 - Jakarta's supporters rose to their feet, but Borys Ciszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho González breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulizes Sola to make the kick off. Ulizes Sola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacobo Chepe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nacho González read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Nacho González stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Velichko Rakadzhiev's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Xaiver Ascarretazabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sahala Ginting showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulizes Sola, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Nacho González took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velichko Rakadzhiev in the 77th minute of play forced Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Rakadzhiev came free, but Nacho González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Borys Ciszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulizes Sola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Sahala Ginting made a huge save. Xaiver Ascarretazabal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sahala Ginting having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Chepe came free, but Nacho González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Chan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
