After a rather tough play, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Carlos Gamarra got a free kick in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BARBARIDADE G.M.'s zone, Göran Unesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Dante came out of the goal and Göran Unesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göran Unesson in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Genílson Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36thth minute of the game Jerônimo Moreno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Rocco's Sven-Edvin Mårtensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Unesson got free with Genílson Dante in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to BARBARIDADE G.M. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Geovanni Trancoso hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

BARBARIDADE G.M. were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Team Rocco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Váldson Mesquita took the corner.
