After 14 minutes of play, Astillero del Guayas's Ulizes Sola made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nacho González showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Ignado in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Masa to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Astillero del Guayas's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Mathiassen came free, but Nacho González reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Stefan Mathiassen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nacho González was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Esteban Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho González saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Esteban Ignado notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Astillero del Guayas's Nacho González. Nacho González was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xaiver Ascarretazabal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Xaiver Ascarretazabal slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 35th minute. When Esteban Ignado fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FRANK's protests and gave Esteban Ignado a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes FRANK got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Ignado. Hugo Moraes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Xaiver Ascarretazabal sent off a good shot on target. Esteban Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho González having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 孙瑜凌 during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 孙瑜凌 hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Ulizes Sola fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astillero del Guayas's protests and gave Ulizes Sola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Ulizes Sola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Mathiassen was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Xaiver Ascarretazabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Astillero del Guayas's goalkeeper Nacho González, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zarando Eguizabal in the 63rd minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Zarando Eguizabal notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of FRANK's Hugo Moraes. Xaiver Ascarretazabal spun around in front of the goal 85 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FRANK's goal. FRANK's Hugo Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 87th minute of play. FRANK's Stefan Mathiassen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play, FRANK's Esteban Ignado made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nacho González was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roald Engebakken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FRANK's Hugo Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Sola in the 95th minute of play. Astillero del Guayas were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
