In the 13th minute of the match Dune got a corner. Garlic Eaters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Kann ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Dune's Helger Jaas got control of the ball when Fitz Lambley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikolay Bonkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marti Hull in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fitz Lambley got free with Helger Jaas in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dune's Aimar Toompere got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Pavol Stano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes Garlic Eaters got a freekick which was hit by İbrahim Efe Altunbaş. Dune's Bogdan Mailat was substituted for Marti Hull. The supporters of Dune booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. İbrahim Efe Altunbaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Adolf Lausmäe made the kick off in the second half. Helger Jaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justin Collingwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Garlic Eaters fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dune had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
