After 12 minutes of play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joachim Forseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th match minute, Saga TF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Gendolla to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Botnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leszek Milko got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Trond Gilde. Erik Cantona hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Juan-Ramón Verón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Forseth. Saga TF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan-Ramón Verón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Juan-Ramón Verón came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Berserkers FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan-Ramón Verón couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Juan-Ramón Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Leszek Milko with Trond Gilde as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Hektor Liberoyiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berserkers FC Ψ's Elvio Ted was substituted for Melchor Garoa. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Arnoldo Txema replaced Godofredo James. In the 61st minute Juan Ignacio Circelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Forseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Ignacio Circelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Forseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Ignacio Circelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Joachim Forseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 77th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Ignacio Circelli came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
