The crowd rose to their feet as Gremio Viana's Jiang De slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Linares. That made the score 1-5 after 52 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, Jiang De reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Linares. The goal made the score 1-6. Jaroslaw Dembkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
