Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erik Cantona got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Nuxila to maneuver through the defense. When Arne Botnen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Saga TF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Botnen couldn't finish the play. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Pisarczyk in the 8th minute of play. Erik Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pontus Nordström having to make a save. 14 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Botnen in the 28th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pontus Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Gerardo Lordi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joachim Forseth to make any attempt to save it. Gerardo Lordi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joachim Forseth firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Saga TF's Joachim Forseth got control of the ball when Gerardo Lordi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santi Urbieta hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Enzo Peruxu's shot from long distance in the 46th minute was not bad at all, but Saga TF's Joachim Forseth knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Lordi was the one to do the kick off. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Saga TF's Brian Laudrup got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pontus Nordström came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Saga TF's Erik Cantona. But to his dismay, Erik Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi was substituted for Witomir Pisarczyk. In the 73rd minute, Saga TF's Erik Cantona dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 80thth minute of the game Mauro Icardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saga TF's Joachim Forseth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Icardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Mauro Icardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arne Botnen took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pontus Nordström. Pontus Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3.
