Jiang De could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Frank Frankfurter made a huge save. Jiang De's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Frankfurter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Edinson Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roni Ronaldinho in the 28th minute of play. Jiang De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang De in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Severino Torcato got a free kick in the 30th minute. Samuel Fiúza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Xiang Yuan in the 32nd minute of the match. Samuel Fiúza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Orling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Roni Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Fiúza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Lu Zhan Jian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Fiúza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Gremio Viana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chinese CJ Youth Academy were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Edinson Haaland made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabrizio Crognale hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Lu Zhan Jian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Fiúza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Ronaldinho in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Fiúza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Frankfurter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang De, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Tony Påk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gremio Viana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chinese CJ Youth Academy the free kick. Tony Påk hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Carlos Luna replaced Jiang De. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Luna in the 74th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Tytus Orling cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Samuel Fiúza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Antonio Calisto replaced Tony Påk. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Bai Feng Xiang replaced Lu Zhan Jian. In the 85th minute, Long Xiang Yuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gremio Viana's Samuel Fiúza got control of the ball when Long Xiang Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
