In the 17th minute Antti Ani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Kalinowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rıza Vuralhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 21st minute. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou in the 26th minute of play. Gustavo Gomez made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gabriel Gaufred. 28 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Cabezon. Maximino Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. Rıza Vuralhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 33rd minute. Federico Kalinowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Beck's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The supporters of Strömsbro IF booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ezequiel Osorio hit a great ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Beck in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Kalinowski saved ACF Fiorentina from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argyris Papapetrou. Charlie Beck charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The ACF Fiorentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Strömsbro IF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
