Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Egg Chasers FC's Matthew Brookman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artur Bachor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Fabien Barthez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Stonehouse came free, but Vito Castelao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Bachor in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Dinamita on Grass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Ruelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Groom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Vito Castelao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonny Wilkinson made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rex Attenborough immediately put the ball in play. 17 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's Artur Bachor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Barthez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Dinamita on Grass's Leandro Paredes to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabien Barthez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Artur Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Artur Bachor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Dinamita on Grass got a corner. Egg Chasers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Paredes ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Bogumil Chowaniec drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper. Matthew Brookman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vito Castelao firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 29th minute Artur Bachor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Artur Bachor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Egg Chasers FC defense, Artur Bachor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Barthez. The Egg Chasers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Barthez should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Dinamita on Grass's Artur Bachor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Barthez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Bachor in the 40th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Jonny Wilkinson in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dinamita on Grass's Zé Ruelas. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Bachor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Egg Chasers FC's zone, Artur Bachor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal and Artur Bachor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Artur Bachor was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Artur Bachor made a precise shot to the right of Fabien Barthez. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some careless play in the Dinamita on Grass defense, Rex Attenborough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Castelao. The Dinamita on Grass fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Castelao should have stopped the shot. Vito Castelao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Groom in the 63rd minute of the match. Vito Castelao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Groom in the 65th minute of play. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Bachor, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dinamita on Grass's Amat Serena was substituted for Artur Bachor. In the 72nd minute Dinamita on Grass were awarded a corner. Delmiro Vachon went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Fatih-Sultan Mehmet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vito Castelao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Groom in the 77th minute of play. Dinamita on Grass's Vito Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Groom in the 79th minute of play. Amat Serena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Fabien Barthez made a huge save. In the 86th minute Amat Serena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Amat Serena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabien Barthez. Egg Chasers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amat Serena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. The Dinamita on Grass players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
