Robrecht Scheppers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Caramarin's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Postens in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of zvc fizikboys's Robrecht Scheppers. Robrecht Scheppers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens Postens to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 89th minute of play forced zvc fizikboys's goalkeeper Robrecht Scheppers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiberiu Caramarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robrecht Scheppers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MIT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
