Robin von Gyldenfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ferenc Tököli made a huge save. After 15 minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mazinho Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. Jorrin Briones took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus de Godoi. Marcus de Godoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Robin von Gyldenfeldt notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli. Ferenc Tököli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute Jorrin Briones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Briones in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Jorrin Briones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Marcus de Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Harlén in the 36th minute of the match. Jorrin Briones scored 1-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus de Godoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Rapsodas Red Devils FC from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Marcus de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Jorrin Briones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wallace Randall in the 57th minute of play. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ippolit Kolobov was substituted for Kerim De Bruyne. Marcus de Godoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Salah's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Elder Cardozo got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Robin von Gyldenfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferenc Tököli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 91st minute of play forced Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
