Robrecht Scheppers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Basajaun in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute of the match C.A.Independiente got a corner. zvc fizikboys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardino Gonsalve ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Indiana Jones managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Basajaun in the 17th minute of play forced zvc fizikboys's goalkeeper Robrecht Scheppers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to zvc fizikboys getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gertjan Humblets hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Heigo Luiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heigo Luiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robrecht Scheppers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heigo Luiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Basajaun in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robrecht Scheppers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in zvc fizikboys's zone, Heigo Luiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robrecht Scheppers came out of the goal and Heigo Luiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Heigo Luiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's 汪渊国 got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some careless play in the zvc fizikboys defense, Heigo Luiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robrecht Scheppers. The zvc fizikboys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robrecht Scheppers should have stopped the shot. After the first half C.A.Independiente were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kobe De Mees stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, C.A.Independiente's Lisandro Mederi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kobe De Mees might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciriaco Macias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kobe De Mees ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A.Independiente's Ciriaco Macias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Müller in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Basajaun got free with Robrecht Scheppers in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Independiente's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kobe De Mees was slow to take the kick. During this time zvc fizikboys's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kobe De Mees almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but C.A.Independiente's Ciriaco Macias did a great save. zvc fizikboys's Robrecht Scheppers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heigo Luiga in the 68th minute of play. Ciriaco Macias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. zvc fizikboys made a substitution. Erwin Tobbackers replaced Aan Diggele. zvc fizikboys's Robrecht Scheppers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heigo Luiga in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Basajaun got free with Robrecht Scheppers in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kobe De Mees sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A.Independiente made a substitution. Ciriaco Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Kindt, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
