Wang Hong Le might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wang Hong Le ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge from getting a goal against them. Radomir Domaradzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şevket Çağa in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Wang Hong Le had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stein Spoelberch. Club Brugge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wang Hong Le was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 26th minute Wang Hong Le shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Klement Kilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Gunter Mesmaekers in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ekskluzywni menele's Filiph Enström. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Hong Le in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şevket Çağa in the 35th minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Radomir Domaradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Wang Hong Le sped through Club Brugge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stein Spoelberch. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ekskluzywni menele's Wang Hong Le. But to his dismay, Wang Hong Le quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Klement Kilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 孔磊傲 made the kick off in the second half. Paul-Louis Schaerlaekens hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Wang Hong Le sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stein Spoelberch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wang Hong Le blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stein Spoelberch having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Hong Le in the 64th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wang Hong Le in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Ogrodowicz in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Ogrodowicz in the 87th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Şevket Çağa took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Radomir Domaradzki to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieter Van Landewijck in the 95th minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Radomir Domaradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ekskluzywni menele fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Brugge had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
