An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Velloso in the 3rd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Santiago Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Mino's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 10 minutes, Santiago Mino made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Premier FC's Dorival Freire tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Palermo's Santiago Mino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Saul Felo got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Dudu Gaspar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Joey skillfully saved the ball. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Edorta in the 20th minute of play. Dorival Freire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Mino went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 27th minute of play. If Santiago Mino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arkadiusz Glowacki fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Arkadiusz Glowacki a yellow card for diving instead. Arkadiusz Glowacki hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dudu Gaspar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Velloso in the 34th minute of the match. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 36th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Mino to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duda Velloso in the 51st minute of the match. Premier FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dudu Gaspar in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Lira in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Joey saved Palermo from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Premier FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Dorival Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Mino in the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dudu Gaspar was slow to take the kick. During this time Premier FC's players had a chance to rest. After 81 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Duda Velloso. Duda Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Marcelino Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnoldo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Chaime blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Freire having to make a save. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Premier FC's goalkeeper Dorival Freire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palermo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Premier FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
