The TRAKINAS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo de Toledo should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, one of TRAKINAS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Léo Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the TRAKINAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léo Trancoso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Oliveira in the 13th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şevket Çağa got free with Remo de Toledo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Remo de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by 孔磊傲 in the 21st minute. The supporters of TRAKINAS FC booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieter Van Landewijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TRAKINAS FC's Renatinho Peres got a free kick in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, TRAKINAS FC's goalkeeper Remo de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şevket Çağa. In the 34th minute Charles Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo de Toledo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Şevket Çağa sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Brugge's goalkeeper Stein Spoelberch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Oswaldo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Ekström hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Remo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔磊傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Matos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stein Spoelberch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

TRAKINAS FC's Oswaldo Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stein Spoelberch was a little too slow when Oswaldo Matos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-2. Remo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from King Eken, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Léo Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRAKINAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, 孔磊傲 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remo de Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Club Brugge made a substitution. Jan-Simon Elsen replaced 孔磊傲. Club Brugge's Jan-Simon Elsen got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Eken in the 87th minute of play. Remo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's King Eken. But to his dismay, King Eken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Remo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Simon Elsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 91stth minute of the game Jan-Simon Elsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes, Jan-Simon Elsen made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. TRAKINAS FC's Remo de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute King Eken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Club Brugge were victorious despite being under pressure from TRAKINAS FC for much of the match.
