In the 7th minute, Marcelino Chaime ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lütfü Öktemer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. MARAZZINO's Dacian Zburliş managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by William Bengtsson in the 10 minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 19th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Mino got free with Lütfü Öktemer in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save MARAZZINO from getting a goal against them. Victorino Francis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Răducanu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Santiago Mino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lütfü Öktemer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 27th minute, Dacian Zburliş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorino Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Chaime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Lütfü Öktemer made a huge save. If Dacian Zburliş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer got control of the ball when Marcelino Chaime tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Palermo's Saul Felo to fire away a dangerous shot which Lütfü Öktemer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Răducanu to make the kick off. Isaias Grove got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santiago Mino. Palermo's Victorino Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Palermo from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palermo made a substitution. Patryk Wiater replaced Marcelino Chaime. In the 82nd minute of the game Isaias Grove made a throw-in which Santiago Mino played forward. 84 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Isaias Grove got a free kick in the 88th minute. The MARAZZINO fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when MARAZZINO's Dacian Zburliş looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 96 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MARAZZINO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
