After 8 played minutes, Palermo's William Bengtsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mano Hume came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palermo reached it. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. William Bengtsson hit a great ball. Mano Hume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Medina's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Alp Kaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Mino came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Francis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Utopía Muerta FC's Attilio Brunelli quite brazenly broke a throw-in by William Bengtsson, made in the 24th minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Piatek came free, but Victorino Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiusz Piatek in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Arne Olsson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patryk Wiater kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Piatek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Francis. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Piatek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arkadiusz Piatek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorino Francis having to make a save. In the 39th minute Arkadiusz Piatek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Arkadiusz Piatek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Victorino Francis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mano Hume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Piatek in the 48th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Victorino Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arkadiusz Piatek to strike the kick off in the second half. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Arkadiusz Glowacki got a free kick in the 56th minute. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Braulio Hibai replaced Anier Johans. Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Bermudo was substituted for Arkadiusz Piatek. The supporters of Utopía Muerta FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Glowacki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hibai in the 63rd minute of the match. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Bermudo in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fermin Martinez was slow to take the kick. During this time Utopía Muerta FC's players had a chance to rest. Victorino Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Hibai in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner. Fermin Martinez went to the cornerflag to take it. When Severo Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Utopía Muerta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Bermudo couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Abalos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Hibai came free, but Victorino Francis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Hibai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fermin Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Francis having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Medina came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Severo Bermudo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Francis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Victorino Francis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Bermudo in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Bermudo in the 95th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Victorino Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Utopía Muerta FC had won after a very even match.
