The wind increased when Habil Castolo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Arda Ardashov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Kaká blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Aires having to make a save. Epigonoi Honjas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Robin Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habil Castolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Vinicio Aires as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lionel-Andrés Messi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vinicio Aires made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Aires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Blue Mountain State's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
