Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Malla in the 3rd minute of play. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 5 minutes, Benedicto Chale made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Chale in the 12th minute of play. Club Almirante Brown's Aristides Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Malla in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Benedicto Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumitru Șişman during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nova Soccer's Dumitru Șişman got a free kick in the 18th minute. Yiyo Sauca hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale. But to his dismay, Benedicto Chale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Club Almirante Brown were furious when Ignacio Truylos was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Ignacio Truylos got a free kick in the 35th minute. Aristides Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donat Collier, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Benedicto Chale struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Maurilio Duque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Almirante Brown. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nova Soccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Benedicto Chale scored to the left of an out of position Maurilio Duque, making the score, 0-4. Aristides Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Favila Villaren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes Club Almirante Brown's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zenaido Aramoyana who took care of the corner kick. Nova Soccer's Zenaido Aramoyana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aristides Hodei in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Malla in the 58th minute of play forced Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper Aristides Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Aristides Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donat Collier in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Benedicto Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almirante Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurilio Duque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Almirante Brown's Ismael Leoiar was substituted for Ksawery Brzakala. Aristides Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Șişman in the 76th minute of the match. Guido Bautista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Maurilio Duque skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Abad. Maurilio Duque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prospero Abad in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque got control of the ball when Guido Bautista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute, Yiyo Sauca made a precise shot to the right of Maurilio Duque. Nova Soccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Guido Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurilio Duque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guido Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurilio Duque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Almirante Brown played a much better game than Nova Soccer and deserved their victory. The Nova Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
