LOI were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Peyote's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Hamdi Ortan took the corner. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, George Buturugã successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zenon Dembkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Özbay in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özbay in the 18th minute of play forced Peyote's goalkeeper Zenon Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomiro Peio was the one to do the kick off. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Văleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Baldomiro Peio came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Peyote fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Peio couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Sulo Montaña ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Dembkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 61 played minutes Peyote got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Văleanu. In the 62nd match minute, Peyote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Văleanu to maneuver through the defense. When Sulo Montaña came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Montaña couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Özgür Özbay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Dembkowski. Peyote's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özgür Özbay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 69th play minutes Kaan Öztanır shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Zenon Dembkowski and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 77th match minute, Peyote was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremie Frimpong to maneuver through the defense. LOI's Kerimhan Cevher was substituted for Kaan Öztanır. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Gregory during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
