The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Buğra Talaş in the 5th minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Rune Söder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Béla Bíró made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Olsson in the 8th minute of play. 罗珂国 hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. László Pál-Szabó shot from long distance in the 14th minute, but Rune Söder was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Béla Bíró showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Alcaraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Buğra Talaş in the 50th minute of play. Rune Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder. Rune Söder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when PMFC 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Paál didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner was taken by László Pál-Szabó in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Olsson came free, but Béla Bíró reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Ahmet Nasir Başayoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Alcaraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Béla Bíró breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PMFC 2018 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Firma Barnängen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
