In the 42nd minute Pit Sanghirun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 秦西岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bilbao Baggins fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Gideon Faturrahman came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cunumbuqui FBC's Salvatore Masa. But to his dismay, Salvatore Masa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Napapon Nasoongnearn to strike the kick off in the second half. Bilbao Baggins's Gideon Faturrahman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 俞崇永 in the 54th minute of play. Gideon Faturrahman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 俞崇永, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 秦西岚 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Napapon Nasoongnearn in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes Bilbao Baggins got a freekick which was hit by Tefik Xhaferri. Wieslaw Domeracki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Jesco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Jacinto Sagrario fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cunumbuqui FBC's protests and gave Jacinto Sagrario a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Jacinto Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errolan Hernani kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Napapon Nasoongnearn came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 秦西岚 could save by the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Cunumbuqui FBC's goalkeeper 秦西岚 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napapon Nasoongnearn. Lalo Blanquel's late challenge caught a Bilbao Baggins's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lalo Blanquel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bilbao Baggins booed when Cunumbuqui FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lalo Blanquel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cunumbuqui FBC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bilbao Baggins had controlled the match.
