Reynaldo Jaume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Szittyák SE rege's László Gácsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that François-Xavier Dionnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th minute Szittyák SE rege were awarded a corner. Milán Seres went to the cornerflag to take it. Szittyák SE rege's Lénárd Kósa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. László Gácsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without François-Xavier Dionnet having to interfere. Arnold Cziránku struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szittyák SE rege. After a defensive mix-up in Ruquense FC's zone, László Gácsi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal and László Gácsi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Basilio Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szittyák SE rege's Reynaldo Jaume was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Szittyák SE rege's zone, Basilio Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Jaume came out of the goal and Basilio Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szittyák SE rege made a substitution. Rex Fynn replaced József Földvári. Szittyák SE rege's Nike Cavia was substituted for László Gácsi. In the 60th minute Rex Fynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Vilho Tikkanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szittyák SE rege's Sebestyén Soós was substituted for Cristiano Ronald. The supporters of Szittyák SE rege booed when Ruquense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilho Tikkanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Nike Cavia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. Ruquense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nike Cavia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Reynaldo Jaume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Rex Fynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nike Cavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nike Cavia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without François-Xavier Dionnet having to make a save. In the 78th minute, Sebestyén Soós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rex Fynn in the 81st minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Nike Cavia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Szittyák SE rege fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Szittyák SE rege's Nike Cavia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nike Cavia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Szittyák SE rege's Lénárd Kósa got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ruquense FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
