Ąžuolas Laucius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Branco came free, but Ąžuolas Laucius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ąžuolas Laucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Emanuel Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Fonseca in the 12th minute of play forced Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Ąžuolas Laucius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's César Coelho seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed César Coelho the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jovens Democratas MZC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and César Coelho had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. César Coelho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lithuanian amber getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ąžuolas Dališanskis hit a great ball. Wilian Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ąžuolas Laucius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Vytautas Alsys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lithuanian amber's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jovens Democratas MZC the free kick. After 36 played minutes Lithuanian amber got a freekick which was hit by Vytautas Alsys. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Emanuel Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ąžuolas Laucius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Lithuanian amber's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Antunes came free, but Ąžuolas Laucius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Emanuel Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ąžuolas Laucius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jovens Democratas MZC booed when Lithuanian amber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kipras Gelžinis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
