Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Lithuanian amber's Rapolas Norkūnas got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Nova Iguaçu MZFC got a corner. Lithuanian amber's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dudu Queiroz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ąžuolas Laucius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12thth minute of the game Luizinho Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lithuanian amber's Ąžuolas Laucius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jailson de Carvalho put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ąžuolas Laucius. Juvenal Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rapolas Norkūnas in the 20th minute of play forced Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper Mauro de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Lithuanian amber defense, Jailson de Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ąžuolas Laucius. The Lithuanian amber fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ąžuolas Laucius should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute, Wilson Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Wilson Vidal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ąžuolas Laucius was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 41 minutes, Jailson de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jailson de Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Wilson Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ąžuolas Laucius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ąžuolas Laucius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Lithuanian amber players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nova Iguaçu MZFC were winning 0-5.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Vidal got free with Ąžuolas Laucius in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Renato Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ąžuolas Laucius having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Jailson de Carvalho took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Ąžuolas Laucius to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Renato Souza in the 66th minute of play forced Lithuanian amber's goalkeeper Ąžuolas Laucius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Paulo Renato Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Renato Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ąžuolas Dališanskis got free in front of the goal in the 75th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Mauro de Salles was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Paulo Renato Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ąžuolas Laucius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ąžuolas Laucius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Renato Souza went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Queirós during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Paulo Renato Souza got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute, Valdas Ignatavičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 played minutes, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Dudu Queiroz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ąžuolas Laucius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Iguaçu MZFC reached it. In the 91st minute, Jailson de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nova Iguaçu MZFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Dalmo Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ąžuolas Laucius made a huge save. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
