Gürkan Akaydın charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gürkan Akaydın the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 18th minute of play forced Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Balaban Orcaner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Black Cloud FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamo Amić to maneuver through the defense. Black Cloud FC's attentive Adamo Amić managed to snatch the ball when Harry Johnson made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Black Cloud FC's goalkeeper Balaban Orcaner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Luis Cuciuffo. Rodney Church took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Nouma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Balaban Orcaner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 38th minute of play. Ahmet Tolga Hicabi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Black Cloud FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Tolga Hicabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balaban Orcaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franky Van Der Elst, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When José Luis Cuciuffo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. Rodney Church was a little too slow when Pascal Nouma got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. Balaban Orcaner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franky Van Der Elst in the 63rd minute of the match. Gürkan Akaydın was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Black Cloud FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gürkan Akaydın hit a great ball. José Luis Cuciuffo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Franz Henry replaced José Luis Cuciuffo. The audience was convinced that Koča Yarangga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodney Church was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. The Black Cloud FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
