Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramazan Afacan started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, AKHisaR's İlyas Tolga Aras got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game José Luis Cuciuffo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo. But to his dismay, José Luis Cuciuffo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Egemen Toralp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Luis Cuciuffo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKHisaR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Lance Mowlem collided with one of AKHisaR's players - so bad that he fractured his nose. When Oğuzhan Yönet fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AKHisaR's protests and gave Oğuzhan Yönet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Oğuzhan Yönet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AKHisaR's zone, José Luis Cuciuffo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal and José Luis Cuciuffo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodney Church showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramazan Afacan in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Brian Patterson. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Afacan came free, but Rodney Church reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game José Luis Cuciuffo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 39th minute of play. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the game, Erol Özyurek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Memphis Grizzlies's Ken Blackwater quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Egemen Toralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The wind increased when Franky Van Der Elst made the kick off in the second half. Egemen Toralp made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 54th minute. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, AKHisaR's Egemen Toralp got control of the ball when José Luis Cuciuffo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKHisaR's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Ramazan Afacan came free, but Rodney Church reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egemen Toralp came out of the goal and José Luis Cuciuffo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AKHisaR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when José Luis Cuciuffo scored to the left of an out of position Egemen Toralp, making the score, 0-3. AKHisaR's İsrafil Kaymaz was substituted for Erol Özyurek. In the 70th minute, Ian Webb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Wiltshire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Wiltshire got free with Egemen Toralp in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yakup Hacıoğlu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Henry came free, but Egemen Toralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramazan Afacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the AKHisaR defense, Peter Wiltshire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egemen Toralp. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egemen Toralp should have stopped the shot. Memphis Grizzlies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
