The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute José Luis Cuciuffo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Golo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodney Church showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alaa Ba Loua, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Memphis Grizzlies getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dave Fleming hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Franciszek Ptaszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes of play, Project Nemesis's Alaa Ba Loua made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodney Church was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 22 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Luis Cuciuffo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodney Church took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alaa Ba Loua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Harry Johnson. In the 27th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Johnson to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Harvey McLiam Wilson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 30 minutes, Sebastian Brytan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Project Nemesis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Brytan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Luis Cuciuffo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Czeslaw Penczkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 54th minute of play forced Project Nemesis's goalkeeper Golo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Project Nemesis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Lerych didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Ken Blackwater in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Project Nemesis's Tadeusz Kicia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alaa Ba Loua in the 63rd minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Rodney Church to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Project Nemesis got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Ptaszek. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Franz Henry replaced José Luis Cuciuffo. Project Nemesis's Tadeusz Rekowski was substituted for Alaa Ba Loua. In the 71st minute, Franciszek Ptaszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Project Nemesis's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Henry came free, but Golo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Henry took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Golo Gol. Golo Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Golo Gol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Memphis Grizzlies's zone, Fabian Labus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Church came out of the goal and Fabian Labus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Project Nemesis booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Webb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harvey McLiam Wilson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harvey McLiam Wilson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Project Nemesis made a substitution. Wieslaw Rukszcz replaced Fabian Labus. When Tadeusz Kicia came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Project Nemesis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeusz Kicia couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Wiltshire in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Golo Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, Project Nemesis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Ptaszek to maneuver through the defense.
