The referee ignored Castanheiro SC's protests and gave Geovani Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Vicente Nogueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Fábio Andrade hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Marcelo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dráuzio Paraíba fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 100 Chance's protests and gave Dráuzio Paraíba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th match minute, 100 Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when 100 Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Eger in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Geovani Madureira notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dráuzio Paraíba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Doni Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Meneses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Arnaldo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Luís Fábio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 100 Chance and the Castanheiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Luís Fábio Machado got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo da Fonseca came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Senna. In the 63rd match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Eger to maneuver through the defense. If Naldo Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Mauro Sarmento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in 100 Chance's zone, Ronaldo Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Cerezo came out of the goal and Ronaldo Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Júnior Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 82nd minute of the match. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Mauro Sarmento rounded 100 Chance's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. 89 minutes into the match, Castanheiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Meneses came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Marquez in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, 100 Chance's Arlindo Siqueira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arlindo Siqueira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 100 Chance protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arlindo Siqueira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 100 Chance:s Leopoldo Cerezo showed great skill when he stopped Mauro Sarmento:s penalty. In the 94th minute, Mauro Sarmento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leopoldo Cerezo. The goal made the score 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Castanheiro SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 100 Chance.
